Where is my data stored?

Only on your device. Milesta has no accounts and no cloud. That also means: if you delete the app, your journal is gone with it — export a backup first.

How do I back up my journal?

Settings → Data → Export Backup creates a single file containing every milestone, photo, and category. You can also enable Automatic monthly backup; copies are kept in the Files app under On My iPhone → Milesta.

How do I move to a new iPhone?

Export a backup on the old device, send the file to the new one (AirDrop or Files), install Milesta, then Settings → Data → Import Backup.

My recap hasn't appeared yet.

Recaps cover completed periods: the June recap appears on July 1, half-year recaps on January 1 and July 1, and the yearly Wrapped on January 1.

How do I cancel Premium?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Milesta → Cancel. Your milestones remain fully accessible on the free tier.

Face ID lock stopped asking.

The lock engages when the app goes to the background and on launch. If it appears unlocked, iOS may have kept the app active — swipe it away or lock the phone to force it.
